Herman Persaud, Sec/Treasurer of EV Riders, will speak about the basics on do-it-yourself electric vehicles. EV Riders shares the cost of a mechanical shop among members who build, convert, and upgrade their own electric vehicles.

Carl Yaeckel with Citizens Climate Lobby will present on a federal bill that proposes to combat climate change through a market mechanism called “fee and dividend.” Economists hail it as the least expensive way to address climate change.
